The team of Baluan Sholak Lyceum School from Makinsk, Robo Baluan, returned from Antalya, where the guys took part in the robotics and innovative technologies tournament, Robotech Turkiye 2024.

As a result, Robo Baluan was awarded a special jury prize and won a ticket to the robotics tournament in Rome, Italy.
“This is our first competition at the international level. It is a great honor for us to get into the top five of the strongest teams. The competition was held at a high level. The merits of my students Rauan Shaizan and Rasul Zandybai are enormous. Now we plan to mentally, financially and technically prepare for the competition in Rome,” BaisultanbekBegzan, a teacher of robotics and computer science says.
According to Baisultanbek, during the tournament, the teams from Kazakhstan provided great support to each other. And participants from neighboring countries, in addition to robots of schoolchildren, were interested in skullcaps, which were worn in the national style.
“When we brought the robots to the test site, we were worried that they would “get out of the way”. However, the hope of victory prevailed. We were very pleased to win a ticket to the international competition, which was attended by the best masters of robotics,” the members of the Robo Baluan team said.
