The presentation was attended by the project sponsors from the Fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna" and the Aitas Holding, the general partner of the project - NIS AEO, the head of Fund for Sustainable Development of Rural Areas – Mrs.Ksenia Verba, the Akim of the Irtysh district – Mr.Bolatbek Sharipov, the Deputy Head of the Education Department – Mrs. Roza Akanova, district and regional media and active citizens.
The main objective of the project "Developing the potential of hub schools in rural areas" is to improve the quality of education through the introduction of NIS methodology and experience in rural schools.
“The teachers of this school took part in a three-day course in the city of Semey. In addition, within the framework of the project, an internship program for teachers of the Irtysh school No. 4 on the base of NIS in Pavlodar has already started,” notes Daniyar Toktarbayev.
Literally in two months of the project implementation, the material and technical base at the school was updated - 34 classrooms were equipped, a STEM laboratory, an art studio, a choreographic hall, and a school television studio were equipped. For these purposes, one of the sponsors of the project, the Fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna", allocated an amount of 249,825,000 tenge.
“Across the country, we plan to equip 17 rural hub schools in the regions, which would become a magnet and a center of competence for nearby small schools. The goal is to make the rural school comfortable, convenient and accessible for quality education and self-realization,” said Mr.Dias Beisenbek, official representative of the Fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna".
The head of the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education Mr.Daniyar Toktarbayev thanked the sponsors and partners for their cooperation and trust in the project.
