Robotics Lesson: “I Want to Create New Projects that Don’t Exist in the World”

The robotics classroom at Zeitin Akishev Bayanaul Secondary School was first opened in 2017. Since the school took part in the Development of the Potential of Hub Schools in Rural Areas project last year, new equipment has been installed in the classroom. Accordingly, children’s interest in robotics has increased.
There used to be 7-8 children, now there are 20-30 children. I’m thrilled about it. Now my goal is to create and bring to market a project that will benefit humanity from Bayanauliregion,” Daniyar Khamzauly, the robotics teacher says.
According to Daniyar, at the very beginning, the guys were interested in robotics as a game. Over time, their level of interest begins to grow. As a result, there are young talents who have achieved success.

It should be noted that at the Central Asian Robotics Championship held in Astana, students of the school took the first place in the “Robot Game” nomination, the Grand Prix in the “Social Network” nomination. Then they took part in the Roboland-2024 international competition and received a double prize in the Labyrinth category.
Yerassyl Turgynbayev, the 11th grade student, who showed the best results in these competitions, says that he wants to further develop the robotics industry in the country.
“This is the industry of the future. In the future, I want to create new projects that do not exist in the world. And now I’m preparing for the Robotek competition, which will be held in May,” Yerassyl says.
Zeitin Akishev School joined the project of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education at the beginning of this academic year. As part of the project, school classrooms and laboratory facilities were equipped with modern equipment.
