A graduate of the 11th grade of R. Lastayev Secondary School, participating in the Rural School powered by NIS project, Dina Kairatkyzy became the owner of the grant from Nazarbayev University.
I got 7.0 points on the IELTS test in 10th grade. Then in February this year, I received a grant, scoring 198 points on the NUET exam in mathematics and critical thinking. At first, I did not know how to enter Nazarbayev University. Coincidentally, representatives of the FSDE came to our school and shared their training tips. My mentors and teachers had a great influence on my high score,” Dina Kairatkyzy said.
As Gulzhan Tolegenkyzy, the Director, noted, the school’s participation in the project has a great impact on the professional choice of students, and teachers get the opportunity to exchange experiences with international experts.
This year, two of our students have already become grant holders before the end of the school year. This is the first graduate, Dina Kairatkyzy, in the history of the school who applied for a grant to the Nazarbayev University. The second one is Meruert Sairanbekkyzy, the participant of the Olympiad in computer science, where she won a grant from Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University”, said the Director of the R.
