In the period from May to April this year, the academic partner of the Fund - Edcrunch Academy - has held a series of training events for teachers of 5 schools participating in the project “Rural School Powered by NIS”, and recently provided results of the work.
Primary school teachers, teachers of mathematics, biology, geography, computer science, physics, chemistry – a total of 89 teachers from five educational organizations have completed a training program aimed at improving subject and methodological competencies in core subjects in terms of theoretical, practical foundations and methods of teaching complex topics, as well as universal competencies.
“For me, the course was informative, I replenished my knowledge base with new competencies and will use them in my work. The possibility of round-the-clock access to the program is also important for us. This is a convenient learning format with minimal free time,” Aizhan Mukanova, the teacher of S. Lastayev Secondary School says.
Of 89 teachers enrolled in the training, 59 teachers received a credit confirming the successful completion of the program and received certificates of short-term professional development in the amount of 36 academic hours.
