About the school


Bestamak Secondary School was established in 1975 and is located in Bestamak village, Alga district, Aktobe region. The school building is a standard two-story facility with a total area of 3,572.9 m². It is heated by an autonomous gas boiler system and underwent a full major renovation in 2021.


The design capacity of the school is 624 seats. Currently, the school educates 707 students, which exceeds its planned capacity.


Material and Technical Base:
The educational process is organized in specialized classrooms equipped with laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology, computer science and robotics labs, and interactive panels. Each teacher is provided with a personal computer. To develop practical skills, the school is equipped with metal and woodworking workshops for boys and a sewing workshop for girls.


The school is fitted with modern technologies, centralized water supply, and an autonomous heating system. An adapted environment is provided for children with special educational needs. There are 88 surveillance cameras (53 indoor and 35 outdoor), and the internet speed is 200 Mbps. The school also features a TV studio, an art studio, a STEM lab, sports and assembly halls, a library, and a game-based learning room called “Intellectum.”

  • 2023 – 1st place in the nomination “Best Olympiad Team” at the district olympiad

  • 2024–2025 – 2nd place at the National Subject Olympiad and recipient of a 100,000 KZT certificate

  • 2022 – Upgraded material base worth 250 million KZT under the “Development of Rural School Potential” project
