In 2024, the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education successfully implemented large-scale projects to support rural schools. A total of 56 schools were modernized, more than 2,000 classrooms were equipped, and over 44,000 students and 3,800 teachers were covered. The projects “Anchor Schools” and “Otpan” became drivers of systemic changes in rural education. A pilot project on the digital transformation of small-scale (low-enrollment) schools was launched in the Aktobe Region. Key events of the year included the international Connected conference and the photo exhibition “Aýyl mektebi,” dedicated to the life of rural schools. The Fund continues to work with the government, business, and society to ensure that every child in Kazakhstan has equal access to quality education.
