About the school
School-Lyceum No. 266 was established as part of the national program “100 Schools, 100 Hospitals” initiated by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The school has been operating in its new 1,200-seat facility since October 24, 2008. It is equipped with language and multimedia classrooms, a 595-seat auditorium, a 340-seat canteen, two sports halls and one gymnastics hall, a 50-seat library, study rooms, and workshops. A 45-seat preschool group also operates within the school. Currently, 195 teachers are employed, including 38 pedagogical researchers, 70 expert-level teachers, 49 moderators, and 27 young specialists.
Material and Technical Base:
The educational process is conducted in specialized classrooms, including laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology, computer science rooms, an electronic library, and interactive learning spaces. Practical skills are developed through metal and wood workshops for boys and a sewing workshop for girls.
The school is equipped with modern technologies, an autonomous heating system, and centralized water supply. Comfortable conditions have been created for all students, including an adapted environment for children with special educational needs.
