Secondary School named after Oraz Sargunanov
About the school
The school was founded in 1943 as a primary school. In the 1949–1950 academic year, it was transformed into a seven-year school, and in 1960, into an eight-year school. Since the 1975–1976 academic year, it has functioned as a secondary school. In 2006, the school was named after Oraz Utebayevich Sargunanov, a WWII veteran and Honored Teacher of the Kazakh SSR.
Currently, the school has 577 students, including 520 students in grades 1–11 and 57 in the preparatory class. With a design capacity of 300, the school serves as a key educational center in the district.
Material and Technical Base:
The educational process is organized in specialized classrooms, including laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology, computer science rooms, an electronic library, and interactive learning spaces. Workshops for metal and wood processing for boys and a sewing workshop for girls help develop practical skills.
The school is equipped with modern technologies, an autonomous heating system, and a centralized water supply. Comfortable conditions have been created for all students, including an adapted environment for children with special educational needs.
