The project "Capacity development of small-multigraded rural schools with digital solutions" of the Fund for sustainable development of education (FURO), implemented in Aktobe region, has received a bronze certificate in the 2026 EduEvidence international system for evaluating educational innovations, in the Equity category (equality and accessibility of education).
EduEvidence evaluates educational initiatives based on evidence of their effectiveness. Its methodology is built on the 5Es framework, which takes into account effectiveness, ethical aspects, environmental sustainability, and equality of opportunity in education.
The Equity category, in which the Kazakhstani project was recognized, is of particular importance. It focuses on ensuring equal access to quality education regardless of place of residence and socioeconomic conditions.
FURO's project in Aktobe region aims to build the capacity of small schools through the introduction of digital educational solutions, teacher professional development, and improvement of the learning environment.
Receiving the EduEvidence 2026 bronze certificate is international recognition of the chosen approach and underscores the importance of systematic work to narrow the education gap between urban and rural schools in Kazakhstan.
