The Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education (FURO) continues to develop cooperation with the Qazaqstan teleradio corporation in order to improve the performance of the TV studios established in rural hub schools.
After a meeting with representatives of the teleradio corporation, additional talks were held with Berik Kusherbayev, director of the regional branch Qazaqstan Altay. One of the key topics was developing the practical skills of teachers and students in working with professional equipment and software for creating video content.
As part of the cooperation, Berik Kusherbayev visited the R. Marsekov school in Ulan District, East Kazakhstan Region. During the visit, difficulties with using the software of the school TV studio were identified, which confirmed the need for additional practical training.
The next step was a visit by the school's students and teachers to the regional branch of Qazaqstan Altay, where they had the opportunity to see how a professional TV channel works.
A return visit by the channel's specialists to the school is also planned. Qazaqstan Altay staff will provide practical training in video editing software, including the use of chroma key technology, which replaces a green background when creating video materials.
Cooperation with the professional media community will make school TV studios more effective, develop teachers' media competencies, and create new opportunities for the creative development of rural schoolchildren.
