The second meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Sustainable Education Development Foundation took place
On June 13, 2025, Coventry University (Astana, 13a Korgalzhyn Highway) hosted the second meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Sustainable Education Development Foundation (SEDF).
The meeting opened with welcoming remarks from the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Kulynash Shamshidinova, who emphasized the importance of expert support for education system reforms and the need to consolidate the efforts of all stakeholders in achieving sustainable results.
The agenda covered the following key areas of the Foundation's activities:
1. Current activities and results of the Foundation's work
Daniyar Toktarbayev, Director of SEDF, presented a report on ongoing projects and performance indicators achieved over the past period. Participants were presented with key work results, including those in the fields of pedagogical training, digitalization, and support for innovative educational initiatives.

2. Concept of SEDF Transformation
Speaking on the second item on the agenda, Toktarbayev voiced the strategic vision for transforming the Foundation into a flexible and dynamic platform to support educational initiatives. He stressed the need to expand partnerships, diversify funding sources, and strengthen the Foundation's role in developing the country's human capital.

3. Development of the value core in secondary education
Special attention was paid to discussing a systematic approach to shaping the value orientations of schoolchildren. The Director of SEDF presented conceptual approaches to forming a unified value core reflecting national identity, citizenship, and global competence.
4. Election of the Secretary of the Board of Trustees
Following an open discussion, a new secretary of the Board of Trustees was elected. Chairperson of the Board Kulyash Shamshidinova thanked the board members for their active involvement and emphasized the importance of effective communication within the expert community.

Concluding the meeting, the participants discussed proposals received from board members and noted the importance of regular working meetings for the strategic support of the Foundation's activities.
