Development of the Potential of Hub Schools in Rural Areas
The project aims to enhance the potential of support schools by implementing the best teaching and learning methods and technologies, upgrading the schools’ material and technical infrastructure, creating a favorable educational environment, ensuring continuous professional development and collaborative interaction among teachers, and providing essential methodological support to improve the quality of education.
On July 14, 2022, the "Qazaqstan Halkyna" Foundation, the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, and Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools signed a memorandum to implement the project "Development of the Potential of Hub Schools in Rural Areas".
With support from the Kazakhstan National Foundation, FURO scaled the project from 5 to 22 schools and implemented transformations in new districts across the country. These include 17 flagship educational institutions, which were improved in accordance with the foundation's strategic plan. From 2023 to 2025, 171 more flagship schools will participate in the project.
From 2019 to 2025, a network of 193 schools was established, schools was created, with 6,800 modern classrooms installed.
64.7 billion tenge in social investments were allocated to modernize the facilities and equipment of the schools included in the project.
