External Monitoring of Educational Achievements of Hub Schools to Started
Since October 16, the Center for Pedagogical Measurements of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AEO has begun an external assessment of the educational achievements of hub schools participating in the project “Development of the Potential of Hub Schools in Rural Areas”.
More than 9 thousand students of 4th and 8th grades of 63 hub schools of Kazakhstan will take part in the monitoring. The external assessment will consist of a cross-section of students’ knowledge in basic educational subjects and will last until October 24.
As a result of the monitoring, separate reports will be prepared for each school and the necessary recommendations will be developed.
“Development of the Potential of Hub Schools in Rural Areas” is a joint project of Kazakhstan Khalkyna fund, AITAS Holding, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AOE and the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education. The project is aimed at reducing the gap in the quality of education between urban and rural schools by training the teaching staff of schools and equipping the material and technical base of educational institutions.
