Graduates of the Rural School of East Kazakhstan Region to Win SDU Grants

Graduates of the 11th grade of R. Marsekov secondary school of Ulan district of East Kazakhstan region became holders of four-year grants from Suleiman Demirel University in Almaty.

Kuanysh Mukhametzhan and Syrym Zhandosuly scored high points at the SPT Olympiad, which is held annually by the university itself.
During the two stages of the SPT Olympiad, I scored 82 points and won a grant. I wanted to enroll in the Jurisprudence specialty at SDU University. I am very glad that I have achieved this goal,” Syrym Zhandosuly, the graduate of the 11th grade says.
The second grant holder, Kuanysh Mukhametzhan, also scored a high score of the Olympiad – 83, in addition, the graduate intends to pass the UNT and enroll in the International Law specialty.
“Following the Olympiads, where our children won prizes, we became the “2023 Best Rural School”. This is a common victory for all of us. Thanks to the program and curricula developed within the framework of the project, we have achieved our goal. Thanks to the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education for its support,” Karlygash Ilyassova, the Deputy Director of R. Marsekov Secondary School said.
R. Marsekov Secondary School of Ulan district has been participating in the Rural School powered by NIS project since 2019.

Results of the monitoring show an increase in the level of knowledge of students, the number of winners and prize-winners of Olympiads from the school has increased.
