1,500 delegates from over 20 countries will attend the CONNECTED visionary conference in Astana

On October 18-19, 2024, “CONNECTED-2024: International Conference on Shaping the Future” will be organised in the capital of Kazakhstan.

It is expected that totally about 1,500 delegates from more than 20 countries will attend the conference over two days.

The conference’s mission is to understand the image of the future through a worldview-based, value-oriented approach. The world needs to understand the worth of human values, innovation, collaboration, and the education of future generations now more than ever.
“Values ​​are not the past, but the present and the future. Values ​​do not separate, but unite and create interaction. By changing the way we see and interact with the world through education and innovation, we change the future. This is the philosophy of our conference,” Ruslan Zhemkov, general producer of the CONNECTED conference, GreenTech and ClimateTech entrepreneur.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek and the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev will take part in the conference.

Nobel laureates, scientists, writers, statesmen, founders, and executives from the leading global EdTech firms are among the speakers.

The conference agenda includes three main topic directions.

1. Future Shaping (Awareness of the future) - creating a new form and map of the future.

This direction involves the discussion of global narratives that allow us to present a new picture of the future. Includes issues of forecasting and modeling the future, different views of cultures, political systems and values.

2. Future Education & Science (Education and science of the future) - a session dedicated to education, which is actually essential for the future.

It will explore how to reimagine current and future education systems that prepare students for a changing world through the lens of global narratives. The participants will also discuss the latest innovations in teaching and adaptation of methods, systems and formats of education to new challenges. The main idea is a conscious view of education.

3. EdTech and Impact Entrepreneurship (Educational technologies and Impact Entrepreneurship) - meaning, impact and benefits of education in the new world. How can technology and innovation in education (the use of AI) transform global views and create Impact? How does supporting sustainable educational practices through the use of modern technologies work? Speakers of this session will be looking for answers to these and other questions.

Organizers emphasize that CONNECTED 2024 will bring together global change agents and participants ready to contribute to social progress and share energy, passion, knowledge and time.

In general, all speeches and sessions within the conference accumulate and develop ideas based on a value-oriented approach.

The event platform is intended to become a tool for uniting people and cultivating the most important universal human ideals.

The organizer of the large-scale event is the Center for Regional Studies, and one of the key partners is the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education.
